Well the MTV Europe Music Awards are now over, and what a night, it was absolutely mad. There is a big list of names I spoke to on the red carpet before the show including Jared Leto, Estelle, The Ting Tings, Anastasia, Take That, Lemar, Leona Lewis, Gym Class Heroes. Oh look at me name dropping! Well, when am I going to get the chance to do it again.

I then got to watch the show. The performance of the night for me was definitely Beyoncé, and also The Ting Tings. Katy Perry did a great job as host, and added a lot of fun to the night.

After the show, I went straight to the red carpet for the after-show party, and interviewed the celebrities to get their thoughts on the show. I got an exclusive with Kid Rock! It was the only red carpet interview he gave all night, so I was pleased. Most of the celebs said that the performance of the night was The Ting Tings, so I’d say they’re the band to watch this coming year. Solange performed live at the after-show party, and she was absolutely brilliant. She gave a high-energy performance, and she has a really funky sound.

I think that’s enough gossip for now – my bed is calling me, it’s been a crazy week. Major thanks to all at Dell and MTV, this has definitely been an experience I’ll never forget. Who knows, maybe you’ll see me presenting again soon.

I’m here in Liverpool, and in the thick of the action. Yesterday was wicked, so much fun! I went to the press conference for the MTV Europe Music Awards, sat in the front row, and got to ask Katy Perry about her personal style. I loved her. Some of the press gave her a bit of a hard time asking her silly questions about her being vacuous, but she handled herself well, and put them in their place. I then got to conduct an interview with Perez Hilton. He complimented me by saying I look like Mischa Barton. He’s got a great presenting style, and when he’s mocking celebrities, he is also very quick to compliment them afterwards, which probably keeps him from getting on their bad side. He gave me lots of tips on Red Carpet Reporting.

Later that night, I went to Perez Hilton’s official party. It was wicked! I saw Estelle and Kanye West perform, as well as The Ting Tings! They were amazing.

Early morning today though, I was up at 5.30am. I’m not complaining, I can get all the sleep I want next week when it’s back to reality. This morning has been action-packed. I took a backstage tour of the venue...loved it! I got to meet MTV presenters from all the different countries. The MTV presenter from Turkey was particularly nice, and gave me some great tips. I also got to see the celebrity dressing rooms, and boy do they get a lot of amazing goodies.

I’m now off to get my hair and make-up done with my friend Fiona. We’re both going to get pampered for tonight’s festivities. I’m SUPER SUPER excited about tonight.

I got a call last week from MTV to say I had won the Dell Red Carpet Reporter competition... I definitely thought they had the wrong number!!

It’s all been a bit of a whirlwind since then. I arrived last night in Liverpool and met with a few people from Dell and MTV. I was given lots of info on what will be happening over the next few days, and what’s expected of me. Luckily, I have my trusty friend Fiona with me to take lots of notes and keep me on track.

Today, I’m off to the MTV press conference to ask some celebs about their personal style. I’m SO EXCITED. I hope to remember to open my mouth and actually speak. Later today, I have an interview with Perez Hilton. Check back later and I’ll keep you updated on all the gossip.
